Route description:

State Route 56 (SR 56) is a west–east state highway in central Ohio. Its western terminus is at SR 29 near Mutual, and its eastern terminus is at SR 682 in Athens. It runs for a total length of 108.8 miles.

Road Conditions:

The pavement is typically in very good condition. There is the occasional patch or rough spot, but they are few and far between.

The northern end of state route 56 is not as twisty as some of the southern sections, but is a fantastic ride none-the-less.
