Welcome to Ohio Backroad…
The great state of Ohio has a wealth of roads well suited for the motorcycle rider. This site is in no way the definitive word on riding Ohio, but simply my lifetime experiences of riding here.
My goal is to help riders find an interesting & challenging road for their next ride. With so many great rides to be found, some of the info will no doubt become dated, so I have include the date last ridden and the road conditions at that time.

Here are some of the bikes I’ve traveled the Ohio back roads on. At this point in my life, I’m more into spirited rides on a twisty back road than seeing how fast I can get through the next corner.
1974 Honda CB550
I’ve got a lot of history with this bike. Traded my ’62 Chevy II drag car for it just shortly after graduating high school.
It’s not the fastest, or has the best brakes, but it is fun to ride on a leisure trip down a country lane.

A work in progress…..
I’ve started to re-do the site, so please bear with me as I get things in order.
I wasn’t happy with the layout of the previous site and hope this new website will present the information in a better way.
